Space Blaster is a 2D space shooter with multiple enemies, weapons, upgrades, pickups, and levels. The game also features a detailed game statistics screen, as well as the basic menus.
This game was created by myself during a Unity3D / C# programming class, over the span of 3 weeks. Each week the instructor provided us with a giant list of features and mechanics that we had choose from; then had to implement a certain amount of them into our game. Although this method might not create the most fun game, it definitely created a unique learning experience; we had to learn how to plan ahead while coding, to allow more flexibility for new mechanics that had to be implemented each week.
